an album inspired by my own tweets

Is a Tweet a work of art? The world's creative energy produces around 500 million tweets everyday – that has to be worth something. In this third tape release by Meznoyume, an album inspired by my own tweets, the Canadian electronic music producer uses his own Tweets as a launch pad for smooth techno rhythms.

In this album, Mez uses what he considers his best Tweets to craft a unique, glittering techno sound world, complimented by shades of netart and vaporwave. The result is a shimmering, 80s pop sound combined with techno rhythms - like Eyeliner meets Carl Craig

The album takes itself seriously just enough to feature sublime moments, but still maintains an Aphex Twin level of cheekiness that allows it to have fun with the techno genre, stretching and re-imagining its conventions and cliches.

An album inspired by my own tweets is currently available on tape, distributed through the Power_Lunch label, and is also available for streaming on Bandcamp, and Soundcloud, with some tracks on Youtube.
